Day 1 on 26 October 2022 found PAGASA attending the
2-day workshop at Seda Hotel, Vertis North for a National Consultation
Workshop on Microplastics. Formally welcomed by Her Excellency German
Ambasadress Anke Reiffenstuel, this DENR-GIZ/German Cooperation project
aimed to create awareness and find a lasting solution to Marine
Pollution. GIZ project brief by
3RproMar (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle to PROtect MARine Environment
& Litter) Head, Dr. Johannes Paul. Phils. is patterning its solid
waste management program from the best practices of other countries
which took two decades to run efficiently.
