The Department of Trade and Industry has sent a letter requesting PAGASA members to help educate the public on safety with regards to christmas lights.

The DTI advises the public to purchase only those christmas lights that bear the Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) mark.

Among the letters are the warnings and notices as well as lists of companies that have received the ICC marks and a list products that are required to have the the Phiippine Standards (PS) license.
