The Department of Trade & Industry called for a Zoom Meeting on 8 August 2024 with their CAAB (Consumer Affairs & Advocacy Bureau> the former CPAB). CAAB Asst. Dir. Werlina Lim first chaired the Mtg in behalf of Dir. Cheryl Carbonell who joined in later. PAGASA was the only participant out of the 13 invited which came from the private sector. Others included Hadassah "Dash" May Cordero of the Phil. Competition Commission who had consulted PAGASA earlier on the same issue, Glen Polo of the Phil. Statistics Authority and Generose B. Manlangit of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

CAAB presented 3 proposals for the new SRP List: 1.) the current one with only 44 SKUs from the current 217;

2.) Prices are on a per gram basis for the 44 SKUs; and 3.) List of categories with price range & average mean price (see photo/background) as a SUGGESTED GUIDE which Mr. Cua had suggested at some earlier Meeting with them.
