On the afternoon of 8 August 2024, held via Microsoft Teams simultaneous with the Zoom Meeting of DTI, PAGASA was invited to attend a meeting on "Advancing Knowledge of Sustainable Plastic."

 This is a 3RproMar Project. 3RproMar stands for the 3 R's "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to Protect Marine  Environment & Coral Reefs." It is co-hosted and run by the German GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit) GmbH and the ASEAN Secretariat.

 The Team is collecting inputs from the different nations' experiences in dealing with all types of waste & trying to seriously discover the economical solutions in dealing with microplastics especially those that affect marine life.

 Meeting is moderated by Mr. Phong Guiang of the German GIZ with presentation from researcher Kristin Galtung.
