|
|
Thursday, 29 September 2016 |
Held as part of the PRA’s Retail Excellence Seminar Series this Seminar on Retail Security and Safety focused on the various frameworks introduced by speaker (Ret.) Col. Felipe H. Buena, Jr./Sr.-AVP for Customer Relations Service of SM Retail, Inc. Frameworks are charts that serve as guides in the handling of a crisis: its application and its policy formulation; of fire/earthquake/armed robbery and bomb threats. The Store Emergency Management Org’l. Chart was discussed to stress the importance of proper execution in one’s chain of command and a quick and more efficient response in times of emergency. The course reminds participants to align Administrative and Operations Department with one’s Security Dept. to properly address security concerns. Advancement of technology in security equipment and continuous training are two essential elements in coming up with a good security program in one’s retail outlet. PAGASA’s P.R.O. Desmond Chua and Member of the Board Edna Ontiveros attended this whole day event. |
