   For the 1st GenMeet of PRA for 2012, PAGASA’s STC was invited as Master of Ceremonies. Guest Speaker was former NEDA Sec-Gen and U.P. Prof. Dr. Benjamin Diokno on the state of the economy. PAGASA was awarded a Plaque of Distinction for 15 years of involvement with the PRA which VP Fred Gravador/Simplicity Ministop (4-L) received together with former PAGASA Dir.   The Committee on Ecology of the Lower House chaired for the day by Laguna Rep. Edgar S. San Luis (left) and attended by Bill Author Partylist Rep. Walden F. Bello (hidden/leftmost), Comm. Sec. Atty. Dilbert N. Quetulio (center) and Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla held a public hearing on the need for parking areas for bicycles in commercial establishments. The hearing was attended by PAGASA in behalf of retailers (see position paper) together with 9 groups from NGO’s having to do with the clean air act as well as resource people from the public sector. Also present was Davao del Sur Rep. Franklin P. Bautista (not in photo).
