 PAGASA’s STC was invited once again to be an organizer for this year’s National Retailers Conference & Exhibitions to be held at the SMX on 9-10 Aug. 2012. Attending this first session in a series of meetings before the event, Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) President Frederick Go of Robinson’s Land Corp. joined in to discuss the theme for the Conference. PRA is the organizer of the annual event. |

  In behalf of PAGASA Member-stores, STC was invited to join a panel of Resource People at the 2-day Conference Called ME Naman. Organized by Pinoy ME (Micro Enterprise) under the Ninoy Cory Aquino Foundation, the program intends to empower ME’s. Pictures show the Market Encounter Session where ME’s present to supermarket, native stores and Filipino Store operators their food products, crafts and wares. ME Naman was held from 23-24 Feb. 2012 at the Landbank Bldg. in Malate, Manila. |

 PAGASA Pres. Steven Cua attends the 1st Meeting of the National Price Coordinating Council for 2012 where inflation is tame and prices are steady. Heading this Meeting are Dept. of Trade & Industry Sec. Gregory Domingo and Undersecretary Zenaida Maglaya. Beside Domingo is Oil Price Watch head Raul Concepcion and Dep. Sec. Gen. Margarita Songco of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). Representatives both from the public and private sector meet at these meetings to monitor prices of all commodities and settle issues to mitigate unnecessary increases. |
