STC was invited as guest at “Balitaan sa Aloha Hotel,” the newest kapihan on its third outing to update and inform responsible newsmen of the latest issues surrounding our economy. (L-R) Amb. Ferdinand Monfoste for the public sector and program host Lolly Acosta. Topic was the rising world price of oil and its effect on our economy.

Consultative Workshop of the Department of Labor and Employment

PAGASA was invited to the Consultative Workshop of the Department of Labor and Employment held at the hotel of the College of St. Benilde in Manila. The 2-day workshop held on 7-8 April 2011 aimed to gather inputs from all the stakeholders> Employee & Employer groups, Government and Civil Society/ NGO’s in coming out with a comprehensive program regarding the labor component of the Philippines’ Five-Year Medium Term Plan. At the workshop, PAGASA submitted a Position Paper. Philippine Retailers Association's 2Q’11 General Membership Meeting

At the , PAGASA’s STC was invited to be the Host for the Event. Its Guest Speaker was CNN’s 2009 Hero of the Year Efren Peñaflorida. The body also elected on that day>4/6/11 its new set of Board of Directors for 2011-2013 at the EDSA Shargrila Hotel. PAGASA was also recognized at the event for being an active Affiliate Member for 2010 and as a part Organizer of the 2010 National Retailers Conference & Exhibitions held at the SMX. Awarding STC are PRA’s Vice Chairmen (L) Roberto Claudio of Toby’s Sports and Manuel Siggaoat of Manel’s Leather Goods.
