  In commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of EDSA Revolution, the Ninoy Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF), in coordination with PinoyME (Pinoy Micro Enterprises), holds a 3-day People-Powered Livelihood Movement at the NBC Tent/Global City to assist NGO’s and the public through business development services. In one of the sessions on 23 Feb. 2011, PAGASA Pres. STC is invited as a resource person together with (L-R) the moderator and representatives of SMART Communications, Splash Direct Sales and Petron Stations in offering business opportunities to the partners/beneficiaries of NGO-attendees. STC gave pointers on how to get products on the Shelves of supermarkets even for Microenterprises. |

  PAGASA’s STC and William Villanueva (4th & 5th from right, back row) attends the Emergency Meeting on 18 Feb. 2011 organized by the Dangerous Drug Board led by Dir. Carlos F. Gadapan PDEA and Asst. Sec. Ma. Belen Matibag DDB to inform/warn stakeholders of the prohibition to carry/sell any products with Poppy Seeds.   The 1Q ‘11 Board Meeting of PAGASA was held close to Valentine’s Day at Robinson’s Otis in Paco, Manila. After the Meeting Proper, a demonstration was held by Eric Ngo of NuTech to present his latest innovation where his gadget can light up and prolong the life of even busted fluorescent lamps thereby saving the retailers pesos in lighting maintenance, power bill and help protect the environment by containing toxic mercury inside these lamps for a longer period of time.

 PAGASA was invited as an observer at the Senate Committee on Trade & Commerce, Committee on Economic Affairs and Special Oversight Committee on Eco. Affairs’ Lecture Forum: “Understanding Antitrust.” At the podium is Atty. Lorna P. Kapunan with her critique on existing and fragmented legislations on antitrust. Other presenters were DTI Usec. Zenaida C. Maglaya and Ateneo’s Atty. Anthony Abad. The forum was headed by Senate Pres. Juan Ponce Enrile and Senator Manuel Villar.
